Lauren resides on Deep Creek Lake with her husband, Travis, and their three young children—two sons and one daughter. Raised on the shores of the lake, her family has a long and rich history in Garrett County dating back to the early 1900s. Growing up in a family of small business owners instilled in Lauren an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. In addition to her real estate business, she and her husband own and operate Silver Tree Marine, one of the area’s largest marinas.

After completing her education at Northern Garrett High School and Frostburg State University, Lauren has remained active in her community, serving as a Director for the Deep Creek Lake Property Owners Association since 2013. In addition, she was appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources to serve on the Maryland Boat Act Advisory Committee and participates in several other committees and boards throughout the county.
